QuestDrop – Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

QuestDrop is made by Kuldeep Jatav ("we", "us"). This policy explains what QuestDrop does with your information. In short: QuestDrop does not collect, store or share any personal data. Your files stay on your own devices.

1. What QuestDrop does

QuestDrop moves video and other files that you choose between your own devices – your Android phone, your PC and your Meta Quest headset – over your local Wi-Fi network or a USB cable. It also lists, plays and deletes files that are already on your Quest.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect any personal information. QuestDrop has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no crash reporting. It does not send any data to us or to any third-party server.

3. Your files

Files you send with QuestDrop travel directly between your own devices on your local network or USB cable. They are never uploaded to the internet or to any server operated by us or anyone else. We cannot see your files or their names.

4. Permissions QuestDrop uses and why

These permissions are used only on your device, only for the features above.

5. Data stored on your device

QuestDrop keeps a few settings on your headset, such as which phone or PC it is paired with and the list of transfers. This information never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

6. Children

QuestDrop is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
